Things to Know

* The works are listed by fandom in alphabetical order.

* I use my own ratings (unless linking to a page where conventions are different), and they are as follows:

Gen, G (for relationship fic), PG, +15, Adult.

* I put content notes on the work pages themselves, all before the work itself starts. I do try my best to indicate common triggers, and also for content that is YMMV (the kink/squick coin, if you will.) Do ask if there is anything you're not sure about, and also let me know if you think I should have indicated something and did not.

* If it says Drabble, the fic is 100 words exactly.

* For fuller summaries, please see the page itself. (Until I update this page more extensively.)

* If you think I have written something that is hurtful/offensive in terms of race, sexuality, or disability, please don't be afraid to let me know. I may be taken aback, but I'll do so in private, and I'll listen, and endeavour to fix it and be more mindful in future.

That said, I have of late been attempting to parse back my grander ambitions to be a little more realistic (I'm still keeping up last year's card, for instance, in hope that I will one day write more of them...heh). But the brainstorming is fun at any rate, even if I only manage to write one of them.

The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal

This is so sweet and warm and lovely and funny. Spent the morning playing catch up, and I promise it won't take you long at all to do so. I love road trip stories, and road trip stories with a dash of m/m romance? Even better! The characters are gorgeous complements to each other. Just...yeah, I liked this. :D

Also! When I went to the 'About the Artist' page, I was delighted to discover that the it was none other than E.K. Weaver. Which may not mean much to most, but I recall back in the day when she was doing marvelous Cowboy Bebop as Big Big Truck. So I was doubly pleased to discover that it was her work. :D

This is from Tallyyho - a late response!

Favorite Character: Vince, because I see lots of me in him, and really like his journey from thinking he's not all that to releasing he's pretty awesome.

Least Favorite Character: Nathan - I know his young and coming to terms with things, but I found him insufferable at times! Ok, his father is pretty much a total shit, but we saw far less of him so while I despised Nathan's father, Nathan himself irritated me.

Prettiest Character: Well, that's Stuart hands down. ;) I mean, just look at him...*swoons*

Character I Wanna Marry: In a cast of mostly gay men, I'm going to pass on this one!

Character I Wanna Be Best Friends With: Vince! We could have pop corn and watch Doctor Who and sigh about attractive people who look like Aidan Gillen. :D

Favorite Pairing: Stuart and Vince. It took me a while to be convinced because Stuart just seemed to destructive, but the later episodes showed me the light.

Favorite Episode: I watched them all effectively back to back so it all blurs together, but I did like the funeral episode, and Cameron's clever line letting Vince know that Cameron thought he was hotter than Stuart. I thought it was lovely.

Unpopular Opinion: I like Cameron. 'nuff said. ;)

Ok, should explain that one! First off, and this is completely shallow, he's played by Aussie actor Peter O'Brien, who I have a soft spot for. Second of all, he really did care about Vince, and Vince bloody well deserved some tender affection that wasn't him being toyed with because Stuart just refused to pull his finger out. And sure, Cameron wasn't perfect for Vince, not at all, but he was the catalyst for Vince to realise that he was worthy of love, the catalyst for Stuart to get his act together and tell Vince he loved him (in his own very Stuart way, of course), which all in it's own way gave Vince the confidence to break-up with Cameron.

Two more days of work, and then I'm on leave for two and a half weeks!

Fannish stuff I'm looking forward to doing (RL stuff is another matter entirely):

* Fic reading catch up. My Read It Later bookmarks are many and vast, as are my AO3 bookmarks!

* Finishing writing Stripped. As it is, I didn't get Part 3 done in time for the planned Sunday posting, and I fear Part 4 will be meeting a similiar fate. But for those who are reading, I can assure you I do have an end in sight, and unless something awfully drastic happens in my own personal life, this fic will be complete. I'd much rather be late in my posting plans than post a dodgy chapter, but hopefully things will go quicker once I have more time to spare. I really want to see this fic through, and I'm so grateful for the reaction I've had to it, so for those who've been reading it, cheers folks, it means a lot. :D

* More kink_bingo fics. Really getting into it this year, but first, Stripped must be done. Ok, perhaps my leave will be taken up with finishing Stripped, but it's nice to dream!

* Dragging some my RL tumblr 'likes' and reblogging them as my fannish self. Sounds silly, but I like having things orderly and all together in the places they 'should' be. ;)

* Watch more things - including Tiger and Bunny as recc'd by threewalls and lynndyre, more of Aidan Gillen's work (including more of The Wire), Babylon 5 which I've seen a few episodes of and am thoroughly enjoying.
